Innocon is chosen to carry out environmental consulting for Central Bocamina

The power plant, owned by ENEL Chile, has been operating since 2012 in the municipality of Coronel.

The purpose of the consultancy -started in October 2017- is to audit the Monitoring Plan that contrasts the water quality in Coronel Bay with respect to its year of installation, and will be carried out for a period of 3 years. It is measured holistically, from the oceanographic, physico-chemical, marine environment, and hydrography and satellite analysis points of view, all of this carried out by a multidisciplinary working group of renowned environmental experts from the Universidad de La Frontera (UFRO), Universidad Austral and Universidad Católica de la Ssma. Concepción (UCSC).

It is not the first time that Innocon and Enel Chile have carried out a joint work, since last February a study was carried out at the Gas Atacama plant -located in Mejillones- to install a return water sensorization system.

Innocon is a company belonging to Holding Company Setop S.A., a Chilean investment group with more than two decades of experience in the human and animal food industry, chemical industry, construction, mining and consultancy that operates in the national and international market.
